Newport Saddlery, formerly Newport Riding Supply, is a premium retailer, distributor, and designer/manufacturer committed to bringing you superior saddlery goods, riding and country apparel, horse care products, as well as belts, boots, bags, and sweaters we have made for us by our custom boot, bridle, and textile goods makers. It's a lot of work, but yes it's fun, and all of our goods are functional, elegant, and durable. We are currently building a full-functioning website which will be completed by February 2010. In the meantime, please call for specific models, pricing, and delivery. We enjoy personal shopping. We sell and distribute numerous product lines and custom leather goods from the finest manufacturers and European craftsmen in the world. Further, our products are not limited to those solely represented to the equine industry -- we go “outside” to find the best, and in almost all cases, we communicate with and buy directly from the manufacturer, ensuring your getting accurate information, every possible option, and timely delivery. The list of companies on the left side of this page is not exhaustive -- we're always adding accounts with high-quality manufacturers and vendors, and we'll add an account for you. Stock items can often be modified in the manufacturing process to suit customers' particular needs. As well, we've got our own products in development including saddle pads with specially processed shock-damping wool batting from Germany, baby pads with all-cotton batting, and an all-natural leather conditioner made without leather-damaging petroleum-based ingredients. We are constantly researching and testing products for their superior utility and horse health maintenance, an example being our metallurgical testing of imported stainless steel and copper alloy bits. With nearly every name brand bit being manufactured in Asia today, we wanted to verify their safety. Further, we have resources for toxic/heavy metal blood and urine testing (provoked and unprovoked), and hair analysis, and can provide you or your veterinarian detoxification/chelation treatment plans and kits. We also have access to a variety of human grade equine supplements and special pharmaceutical grade dietary products such as melatonin, chlorella, amino acids, and others.
